Raw Honey

Local, raw, minimally filtered (to leave some pollen) honey from our apiary!  Color variations in the honey are due to the different types of available flowers the bees are visiting throughout the warm months. You'll notice lighter honey in the spring, more amber colored honey in the summer, and a darker honey in the fall. Customers say Zinke Apiary makes the best honey they've ever tasted!

About Our Bees
Our bees give us so much more than honey. By working with the natural rhythms of the hive, we’re able to harvest beeswax, honey, and propolis in a way that supports their health first. Our hives are never treated with harsh chemicals (organic-approved only), and we provide them with safe, pesticide and herbicide-free forage so they can thrive. Healthy bees mean healthier ecosystems. 

How to enjoy:

• Eat it right off the spoon
• Stir into warm, tea, coffee, or cocktails
• Drizzle on toast, fruit, or yogurt
• Use as a sugar substitute in recipes for added nutrition

*Note that heating honey over 104 will diminish some of the benefits of raw honey
